Didn't Mom teach you to look BOTH ways?

Jet lag hit us hard the 2nd day, and we slept for 13 hours right into mid afternoon.
We decided to take it easy... a friend of Steve's was starring in a small off West End, black comedy production called All I want for Christmas.
The show was great, nothing like a murder, a prostitue and "Its A Wonderful Life" to put you in the holiday spirit.

The next day, we were up ridiculously early and did some serious sightseeing. We will not bore you with the details, instead just show the highlights.
Tower bridge from a Thames river ferry...

Big Ben from underneath the London Eye...

Big Ben and Parliment from the Westminster Bridge...

London Eye from Westminster Bridge...

Look kids, Big Ben... hey kids see Big Ben, oh my goodness kids, Big Ben... ha ha hee hee look Big Ben

Heather doing her best... London Calling / Doctor Who

Grumpy local of St. James Park...

Almost as grumpy local of the Queens Horse Calvary...

Heather outside Buckingham Palace, after a spot of tea with Queen Elizabeth, or as she prefers Heather to call her... Lizzy.
Picadilly Circus, Londons version of Times Square...

So we kept forgetting the damn English drive on the other side of the rode, causing numerous brushes with death... in this one, I just happen to be holding the camera, as 2 double decker buses reminded us why Mom was right... look BOTH ways before crossing the road.
