Haida statue, a pleasant stream, giant aquarium... oh my

On our flight overseas, we had a short layover in the Great White North.
I love my home and native land, and since some of you (read Americans), know so very little of your BIGGER, older, and wiser brother to the North, I thought I would use this opportunity to educate you on the wonders and majesty that is the Canadian airport...

First, everyone gets a hug, literally there is a designated greeter / hugger, who welcomes everyone to Canada, even if you are just passing through, as we were. Canadians truly are super nice.

After feeling warm and fuzzy inside (after all these are professional huggers), you are transported into a fantasyland of random wonder... immense wood craved Haida indian gods, a full recreated mountain stream with a quaint log bridge, a giant aquarium, and a cartoon tug boat...

And of course, what trip to the airport would be complete without a random celebrity siting.
Jude Law is a super cool guy, even gave Heather a kiss but has a really really big head (and I do not mean that metaphorically)...
