Shawn White ripping it in Greenwich?!?

We decided to spend our last day in London in Greenwich visiting the Greenwich museum, and the National Martime museum ...

We also climbed to the Royal Observatory where the problem of Longitude was solved by charting 1000s and 1000s of stars.
Heather and I danced across Greenwich Mean Time or 0.00 degrees longitude.

So the observatory is on the top of a hill, not a mountain, or even a large hill... you could even make a case for it being called a rise.
Usually when it snows in London, the snow melts immediately upon hitting the ground, but this day, it actually stayed, yes snow on the ground.

The hill, coupled with the snow staying on the ground, brought out Benny Hill and Hugh Grant here, to do their best Shawn White impression. It was both awesome and sad... true triple Xers, just before calling it for a spot of tea.

We finished out the day with a visit with an old friend of mine, Nicola. She and I met while treking in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal.
