With the city awaking from under a blanket of snow, and the sun out for the first time since we had arrived, we decided to finish our last day in Paris with a climb up the Effiel Tower.
Effiel Tower from the Trocadero, bathed in morning light...
Heather crossing the Siene, before the Champs du Mars...
From the base...
Unfortunately, due to the ice formed from the storm, only the first level was open, and we decided to walk up...
Down from the first level...
As I had mentioned in a previous post, there is art everywhere in Paris. We were treated to a spontaneous peice of art from the Tower...
Our best Griswold European Vacation pose...
Awesome advertisment in the Metro... what exactly is Wall Street english? Does graduation from the famed Wall Street Institute involve a tongue tattoo? ...
We finished up the day at our favorite little cafe on Ile St. Louis, enjoying a cafe latte and quiche...
Bags packed, we headed off to Madrid...
