The plan was to fly to Taipei (great cheap ticket), then take regional lower cost airlines to work our way to Kuching, Borneo.
Sorta like flying to London, then figuring out how to get to Paris.
So after another 5 hour flight to Kuala Lampur, we were surprised to find out it is school holiday week and all the Malaysians are travelling... yeah how fun, no seats, and kids EVERYWHERE.
After several more hours of cab rides to another airport and furious InterWeb searchs, Fang Fang the lovely ticket counter girl with a heart of gold, scored 2 tickets for this afternoon.
With the tickets secured, it was time to explore the airport.
Heather was never really worried, she found distractions to ease the weary traveler...

Left the house in Southern California at 11:30 am Saturday, 12/06 and 2 days, 4 hours, 36 mins later, we are chillin at the Threehouse bed & breakfast in Old Chinatown, Kuching, Sawarak, Malaysia.
