We still reside in a modest abode, tucked lovingly on a small hillside, just south of Los Angeles, in south Orange County California.
Life has been good to us, so after a few marathon viewings of Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis, we decided to upgrade a few things...

New Car
I have embraced my love of mother Earth, and pulled the trigger on a Prius, and not just any Prius, the Black Cherry Pearl model... matches my new toenails beautifully.

New Fence
Modern modern modern... I love me some modern design.
And nothing says modern like a slate cedar fence... I find myself sitting in the backyard, in a meditative state, just staring at my beautiful fence.

New Color
This summer, I was back home in Canuck-ville, Great White North and saw an incredibly funky home near my buddy Mike Buzzeo's place. It was painted blue, electric blue.
In a fit of excitement, I just went with it... and then Heather came home, and gently reminded me that our neighbourhood palate is soft taupes and browns. Apparently electric blue doesn't belong in the same color group as neutral.
So my home is a mullet... business in the front, party in the back.

New Microwave
Two words... microwave drawer... BOOM! yeah I said it.
It is a drawer AND a freakin microwave. Like looks great AND gets great gas mileage, nuts AND bolts, Heather AND Riad, peanut butter AND jelly...

New Island
I always wanted an island, but hated the idea of it taking up space right in the middle of the kitchen, I mean what if we needed the space for a tickle fight ring?
Solution... put wheels on it.
