Ray of Light

The next day, the idea of another "tie your own harness" cave did not appeal, so we opted for another easy stroll, this time to the Clearwater, Wind and Lady show caves.
A short boat ride down the Melinau river...

 Stunning entrance, the vivid contrast between the lush, alive green jungle, and the damp, dark cave.


This set of caves are known for several "skylights", where the ceilings above have collapsed.


Heather inching her way around a tree, who missed the memo that there is a walk way here.

These are single leaf plants, just a single big leaf, growing out of the rock face.


The water has eroded around the rock to form razor sharp stalactites.

Seriously? I can't get enough of sunbeams streaming through cave openings... awesome.
